"Quotes"

Famous people aren't the only ones who can be quoted.  When asked, the kids spoke out about their experience at Slam Dunk Basketball Camp.  They had "something to talk about".

"Thank you so much for making this camp open to us!  We learned a lot and had A LOT of fun!"
"Thank you Mr. Stewart, Mr. Judelson and Mr. Reinsdorf for sponsoring our camp.  I learned a lot about basketball and also how to take care of my diabetes."
"I made some new friends and had a lot of fun.  I wish there could be a camp in Indiana."  - Carol Qualls, age 13, DeMotte, Indiana.
"The coaches were great and we had fun!"
"I had a great time at basketball camp.  I met other kids with diabetes and learned the rules of basketball.  I can't wait until next year!" - Adam Prasek
"Way to go!  As Margaret Mead once said, "Never underestimate the power of a few committed individuals to change the world.  Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."  Thanks for changing these kids' world and thanks for your contribution to the profession of diabetes education." - Virginia Zamudio, RN MSN CDE, AADE Immediate Past President
